Skills Play an Important Role in Guild Wars 2, Says Dev Team
For those eager Guild Wars 2 fans who want to learn more information about the specific game content, interviews would be a perfect way since the official reveal about the game is so limited. In a recent interview with Guild-Hall.cz, the dev team has shed more light on the a few tidbits regarding the attribute system, skills in Guild Wars 2 and more.
In most of the MMOs, players would face an issue that they have selected the wrong attributes combination then they should pay some in-game points to fix it to the right way. But in Guild Wars 2, there will be a relatively easy and pain free way to respect your attributes.
The relationship between skills and levels would be a great concern for many players. According to Eric Flannum, the Lead Designer from the dev team, skills would play an important role in Guild Wars 2. "It really depends upon how large a spread in level you are talking about. For really large level spreads of say 10 or more levels, then the gear and raw power of the character is going to be a huge factor. When you are talking about smaller level differences then skill plays a very large role. We want player skill to play a significant role in Guild Wars 2." Eric explained.

For those players who love crafting items themselves, this would be great news. It will be possible for players to craft items that are comparable to end game items. The quality of the crafted items would be the same as the best items available through rewards and boss drops.
