之前提过,Telara在阴影入侵的威胁下,任何时刻任何地点都会出现次元裂隙,无数的怪兽从次元裂隙中不断的冒出来。。。

游戏中经常可见浮动的爬行裂隙,常常带来可怕的事件。
如何组织次元裂隙呢?将所有的怪兽从那里驱赶出去,关闭次元裂隙从而得到片刻的消停。然而,在Telara次元裂隙会不停的出现,和怪兽的战争永无休止。
当玩家进入裂隙中,铃声便会响起,周围的世界立即变得黑暗。
声音响起时便会爆发出火焰,怪兽也会在5个waves中不断出现。
次元裂隙一出现,很多玩家就会集中在一起,很快的组团,肩并肩作战,直到次元裂隙关上才解散。
地图上有漩涡标示的地方都是可能会出现次元裂隙的地方,也会有路线指示。
玩过《最终幻想XI》(Final Fantasy XI)的玩家可以很容易掌握裂隙中团队战斗。裂隙中,玩家们可以一起战斗,虽然只有一小段时间,玩家们也会从中得到乐趣。
裂隙会随机出现,最有可能在堡垒旁边出现。假如是这种情况的话,NPC也会加入战争。
依据贡献的大小玩家们会赚取金(Planarite),然后使用金来换取特殊的奖励。

另外,级别的差别很少会带来消极的影响,相反的会大大增加它的战斗力。经验值和掉落物会依据玩家的贡献大小来分配。
从次元裂隙中冒出来的怪物会痛打已经在Telara生存的怪物。
名字呈绿色的NPC,包括Quest NPC和Auction NPC都会停住手中的工作加入到战斗中来。
从次元裂隙中冒出来的怪物的位置会一直在地图上更新显示。
玩家们共同的目标就是关闭裂隙。玩家之间互不相识但是可以为了同一目标共同作战,这种感觉非常美好。
地图会即时显示出现次元裂隙的位置,很多玩家以此来找到次元裂隙加入战斗。
关于其他主要的系统的简介
新手在完成任务的过程中,会慢慢熟悉游戏的内容。到达15级后,他们就可以选择更多的soul,可以进入拍卖,坐骑,PVP以及其他的系统中。另外,达到20级会有更广泛的选择空间,当然也要面对更多的任务。

总的来说,甚至游戏老将也会觉得游戏并不容易,内容丰富。另外,和其他网游相比,裂隙中的怪物更警觉,但是同时他们也很容易被跟踪。魔力的范围也扩大了,也就是说法师的魔力会比预期的更加有力.

不过在到首都的时候,守护者和挑战者就会在特定的PVP副本中见面,通过warfront系统参入到即时战争中。裂隙的世界非常美丽,守护者和挑战者有着各自的领地,各自的优势。推荐玩家可以尝试这两种角色。
这是裂隙地图。尽管两方从中心开始,守护者主要探索上方,而挑战者主要探索下方。
这是“warfront”管家。根据战斗结果玩家获取“Favor”点以换取别的物品。

RIFT Trial Report Part II - Group Battle Intro

As mentioned before, Telara is always under the threat of Shade invasions and rifts can appear anywhere and at any time, from which monsters will come out ceaselessly.
If those monsters are ignored, they will attack every stronghold of Telara. Once NPCs stationed in the stronghold are defeated, the facilities there cannot be used for a period, and the shop business and quests won't be carried out as a result.
Such creepy floating objects are rifts that can be seen frequently in the game and will cause various horrible incidents.
How to prevent the rifts? Repel all monsters from there to shut down the rifts and secure a brief peace. However, rifts will keep occurring in Telara and the fight against monsters won't come to an end.
The moment when players enter the rift, the bell will ring out and the surroundings will become dark instantly.
When the sound is heard, flames will erupt and monsters will turn up constantly in five waves.
As soon as rifts emerge, numerous players will get together around, team up quickly, fight shoulder to shoulder to close the rifts and finally disband.
The swirling icons on the map indicate the appearance of rifts and the routes are shown to lead players there.
Players who have ever played Final Fantasy XI, can easily understand the group battle in RIFT by means of thinking of Fantasy XI's Campaign Battle and Besieged. RIFT provides an environment for group battles, where players can enjoy the fun of fighting together, even though they just get along for a short time.
The rift will appear randomly and is likely to appear near a stronghold. If it is so, NPCs will also join the war.
According to their contributions to the rift war, players will earn "Planarite" points, which can be exchanged for special rewards.
The group system is very easy. If only players approach others, click the "Join" button to partake in the war.
For instance, when a rift occurs in a bustling street, a group with almost 10 members will be formed immediately. In such an emergency, nobody will care the balance of class and level, for everyone is busy dealing with endless monsters. In most cases, players don't need to speak anything in the group, which is good for those who are introverted.
By the way, the level difference will pose few negative effects on the group, but greatly boost its fighting ability on the contrary. Besides, rewards like Exp and dropped items will be distributed in line with players' contributions.
Monsters coming from rifts will lay into the monsters existing in Telara on their way to the stronghold.
NPCs with green names, including Quest NPCs and Auction NPCs will put aside their work and take part in the battle.
It is real timely updated and displayed on the map that where the monsters from rifts are and where they are going.
The common goal of all players is to shut down rifts. It is so nice that players who don't know each other can also fight together to achieve the goal.
The map can show where rifts occur in real time, so a lot of players take it for reference and go to the rifts to fight.
Introduction to Other Main Systems
If newbies play the game along with the progress of quests, they will become familiar with game content gradually. After reaching the capital at Level 15, they will be able to choose from more souls and get access to auction, mounts, PVP and more new systems.
As a new MMORPG, RIFT has high-quality graphics and soundtracks.
Most quests have no restriction on callings and can be completed by one person, only a small part of quests recommend players to team up. Generally, players focus on the quests and join a war while seeing a rift from afar, which is perhaps the main gameplay and gaming fun at present. Surely, it is another play mode to fight successively in different rifts and lay stress on PVP.

Terrains and monsters in dungeons are tougher than those in the wild, but they are more aggressive and interesting, really worth challenging. Plus, more dungeons fit for groups are waiting for players who have hit the level cap.

Nevertheless, on arrival to the capital, the Guardians and the Defiant can meet each other in specific PVP instances and engage in real-time battles through the "Warfront" system. Many players even set the Roll to target and fight other players.
Incidentally, the RIFT world is very beautiful, and the Guardians and the Defiant have different territories, each with its own advantages. It is recommended that players give both of the two factions a try.
