 账号的安全问题一直以来是玩家们的头等大事，其实对于游戏开发者来说也是一样。最近访问IncGamers的时候，激战2的游戏设计者Eric Flannum和John Peters透漏：ArenaNet对于激战2中用户日期安全的漏洞提高警惕。专业玩家网为玩家提供最新最全的游戏资讯，职业玩家的首选网站。

毫无疑问安全问题是游戏开发组非常重要。游戏开发组提到：“我们会有一个专门的小组来检查游戏中的漏洞问题，同时我们游戏也有很多特性来保障玩家账号安全。目前，游戏开发组还不愿意透漏具体的措施，但是他们了解之前在激战中一些玩家的账号被偷取。我们肯定希望账号不被盗取，但是能做的毕竟是有限的。日后我们会公布关于账号安全的措施。”

ArenaNet's Developing New Security Measures for Guild Wars 2

ccount security is always a huge concern for players and it is same for those game developers. In a recent interview with IncGamers, Guild Wars 2's game designers, Eric Flannum and John Peters have said ArenaNet is on the alert for user date security breaches in Guild Wars 2.

It is no doubt that security is very important for the dev team. "One of the things that we've done is we have a team who looks at that stuff and we have a lot of features that we think will help out with security" they said in the interview. Currently, they are not ready to talk about the specific measures, but they "understand having operated GW and seeing all the account theft that has happened. Obviously we're hoping to shoot for accounts never being stolen, but there's only so much you can do. At the moment though we're not quite ready to talk about exactly what we're doing."

Generally speaking, account theft has been a constant problem for MMOs. Affected MMOs such as RIFT and Lord of the Rings Online has developed some certain system to deal with this issue. For example, RIFT developer Trion has adopted a "two-factor authentication way" to offer an additional layer of security to players. What measures would ArenaNet take to ensure the Guild Wars 2 account security, it is still unclear.
