Q: I'm pretty hopeless lost as to where I should go for my storyline, at this point. I've wasted about 8 hours wandering around and not finding anything, and it's starting to wear me out...
I started in Qiandeng (the Phoenix Pledge script) and made it to 'Destroy the Lair' in the Tea Forest Instance. After that, I kinda lost track of what to do. I think it sent me to Louyang to see Mrs Shi, but that was a dead-end. No continuing task.So far Round 1-4 on both Phoenix Pledge and Shaolin completed. Under 'Recommended' it says that I should talk to Hai Tianlong, but he has nothing for me.What should I do?

A: As a new player, you will not meet the criteria to begin the second chapter in your story quest line.
Daily tasks in Age of Wushu come in the form of the Weekly Fight for Intelligence quest. With a limit of 5 spy quests per day allowed, and 20 to complete for the weekly quest, players will usually do 3 spy quests a day. The reward for this weekly quest is 70 School Honor Certificates. This is the main currency you will be using to purchase your 2nd internal skill pages from your school vendor, as well as the 3rd internal pages when you reach that point.

You will also want to work on your life skills to make sure your income from the player driven economy is optimum as unbound silver will contribute to your character progression in the form of purchasing power for skills and gear upgrades.

Keeping your experience pool filled is also essential as all cultivation originates from experience. You can find my guide on maximizing your cultivation rate in the guide forums. Read it and see if you are taking the correct steps to make sure your character is growing at an optimum speed.

Aside from those daily tasks, make sure you enjoy the open pvp environment that Age of Wushu delivers. Activities such as escorts, guild wars, school wars, spying and script stealing all work to promote player vs player combat.Don't forget to work on getting your fly skills through mini influences or forbidden dungeons. The development of your character is heavily dependent on acquiring new skills! Mini-influences and Script steal events are two main sources you should not overlook!
