Future Economic of Age of Wushu and the Game Itself
After the patch Hua Mount, there are many features that snail brought to us, and one of the feature is school contribution point which can be exchange for many things such as, moonlight brocade, 30days gears etc. The main focus on this post is the moonlight brocade exchange which will bring a significant terrify down fall to the economic of Age of Wushu and the future of this game itself.
First of all, people right now abuse the contribution points by doing school war and killing their alt in there. In one week, each of them can easily farm up to 3000 contribution with that method. It is already done so by many people who has over 10 alts. This seem to be no problem at all, but if we look at it closely, what is the point of school war then? School war is where massive pvp and fun feature happen, but now it is just a place where people just killing alts and camping for the Hua Mount invitation. That also gives all the materials for workshop for free. Then massive amounts of jade gears can be make, and all items will soon drop price to super cheap. You might say it is so good, but let me explain why this will kill this game.
Secondly, many people will disagreed with me at this point because of 2 things, workshop and the price. However, after the patch, the chance of getting workshop is increase a lot, so people get workshop real easy now, but this is not a thread yet. People who has 10-40 alts and purchase vip for 1 moth or so, they are now getting 2-5 workshop a day using RE. This is true story, and most of them are gold sellers . I spoke to a few of them, and they said that they will soon craft and put out massive amounts of jade gears. U might say that is great, and i can get jade gears soon. However how do u make money to buy those? soon after they release those jade gears, there are nothing can be sell.
Thirdly, let look into some of the stuffs u might think u can sell to buy those jade gears. Scripts, many people who have money already got whatever they wanted, and they also can go mount hua to watch and get those, so who will buy the scripts? Materials for rolling gears, since jade gears so cheap who will invest to make gears and make no profit? There are more u can sell, but put it this way "who will buy those when they also make no money." You might not believe, but look at the example in white tiger server where the moonlight hacked happened, and all moonlight brocades were sold for 20liang ( before update).
