The Repopulation has released its latest monthly update, a big one this month due to the commencement of the game's first alpha phase. In addition, the team has introduced several new features to The Repopulation including an Ability Enhancement system, User Created Waypoints, Trade Skill Interface Improvements and many more.

The letter not only contains lengthy descriptions of the most significant updates to the game, but also includes a long list of bug fixes. According to the writer, bug fixes are a particular priority over polish at the moment. However, polish does continue, though at a slower pace:

Polish is a lower priority than bug fixes and completing features at this point, but it's importance continues to grow as we inch closer to beta and release. Our character models have been replaced with new and improved models which allow for a higher degree of customization.  This includes a slew of customization improvements including aging, tattoos, scruff, and new hair styles.  We also continue to streamline features, making numerous minor tweaks and UI improvements based on player feedback.
