Defiance players have a lot to look forward to as dire events begin to unfold in Silicon Valley. According to a new Producer's Letter on the Defiance forum, a new landmass is about to be discovered. The letter goes on further to give players a sneak peek at upcoming events.

New enemy factions are coming to the Bay Area. In short order, however, they will become the focus of events that will embroil the bay in violence. You see, something bad is happening in the ark belt … and on our quiet planet below. As events in St. Louis and in San Francisco reveal startling similarities, you'll realize no one will escape the conflict to come without sacrificing something they hold dear.

Tonight’s show picks up one year after the conclusion of Season One, and players of Defiance the game can get a firsthand look at what the shows characters have been up to, as the Tarr family has expanded its operations into the Bay Area in Datak's absence, and thief Josh Nolan returns to the Bay Area in search of Irisa.
